ATA iSpec 2200 overview
In 2000, the ATA Technical Information & Communications Committee (TICC) incorporated ATA Spec 100 and ATA Spec 2100 into ATA iSpec 2200. It is the aerospace industry's current global standard for content, structure, technical documentation, and electronic exchange of engineering, maintenance, and flight operations information.

The objective of iSpec 2200 is to minimize cost and effort, improve information quality and timeliness, and facilitate manufacturers' delivery of data. It includes industry standards for: numbering aircraft systems, content, and electronic formatting specifications for technical documents.
