NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA, September 18, 2002 - ProtoType Industries, inc. (PTI), the leading provider of Technical Publications and Engineering Services to the avionics market, is pleased to announce the launch of its new "iWiN®" service.
"iWiN®" is a web site that allows clients to conveniently view and print various real-time status reports. The customizable reports are generated on-the-fly to let clients choose specific data that they would like to see.
In addition to reporting, "iWiN®" allows clients to place requests for new publications, request changes to existing publications, download source data such as graphic or text files, and identify cross-references between associated programs and projects.
Any computer with a web browser and Internet connection can be used to read the reports, search for data, submit requests, or download files. The client does not need to download or install any new software. Users of the web site are assigned individual logins which are governed by a robust set of permissions, thereby providing a high level of data security.
"Our 'iWiN®' service is unique in that it allows our customers to generate real-time reports directly from our engineering and program management databases," says Irene Gregorie, C.E.O. and founder of PTI. "Continuous automatic updates ensure that current information is at the user's fingertips, anywhere and at anytime. Furthermore, the seemingly effortless sharing of data and information allows us to meet short schedule requirements and maintain the highest level of configuration management possible."
"iWiN®" is provided to PTI clients as a value-added feature to the Technical Publications and Engineering Services offerings.
