Irene Grigoriadis serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and owner of ProtoType Industries, Inc., a technical publications services and software development company (founded 1991). The company is headquartered in Santa Monica, California, USA.

Ms. Grigoriadis’ career began in 1977 and has spanned multiple industries including: software and systems development, oil and gas, marine, military, entertainment and aerospace. Her focus has been on the design and implementation of cost-effective and time-critical publishing processes and systems. 

Ms. Grigoriadis’ client base encompasses an impressive list of airlines and aerospace suppliers including: Thomas Cook Airlines, QANTAS, America West, Fed-Ex, Jet Blue and Airborne Express. Manufacturers include: Rockwell Collins, Hughes, Panasonic Avionics, General Dynamics, Ametek, Thales Avionics and Jamco America. Historically, her companies have employed more than 500 people.

In 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013 ProtoType Industries was honored with the Inc. 5000 "Fastest Growing Private Companies in America", the 2012 Los Angeles Business Journal "Largest Woman Owned Business", the Los Angeles Business Journal 2010 "Top Minority-Owned Businesses", the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2008 "Fastest Growing 100 Private Business in Los Angeles" and the San Fernando Valley’s 2008 "Fastest Growing 50 Private Business" awards.

Ms. Grigoriadis was also awarded the National Association of Professional Women's  "2010/2011 Woman of the Year" award.

As CEO, her intelligence, experience, leadership and vision have helped steer the service offerings to the forefront of the aviation industry. Her extensive experience with airlines and technical publications has led to the implementation of SkyWriter® - the leading enterprise-integrated XML-based documentation software application.

Ms. Grigoriadis was born in Greece. Immigrating to the United States at six years of age, she was raised and educated primarily in Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her Associate of Arts Degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1978; Bachelor's degree in 1988; and Master of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge in 1996. She holds current U.S. and Greek passports and is multi-lingual.
